Robert Frost’s famous poem:
DUST OF SNOW
The way a crow
Shook down on me
A dust of snow
From a hemlock tree
Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I rued.
This is one of my favorites, and it really sums up what we’re trying to do here.
The gist of Frost’s poem is that even very-simple things can have outsized effects on our lives. Who would think that snow falling on one’s head could actually change a mood from glum to good? But you know when you read this poem, that this is truth.
Who knows what hope/light/levity could be delivered in much the same way by leaving a little “Surprise Blessing!”
Be the crow – spread the dusts of snow! One dusting may just be what is needed to lighten someone’s mood! – Writer 1
